‘’All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’’. It is for this reason that the 37 Military Hospital as part of its 75thAnniversary celebration on Friday, July 21, 2017 organized a health walk and fun games for personnel of the hospital which begun at 7 am and ended around 1pm.
The purpose of the health walk and fun games was to enable personnel keep fit and look healthy at all times and also to bring them together to have fun after working over long periods of time in order to release stress.
The route started from the Quarter Master Yard of the hospital through to the Airport, Shiashie, Gold house, Association International School and back to the hospital’s football pitch where different games such as football, tag of war and table tennis.
Trophies were given to the civilian ladies who won the tag of war, wives of soldiers and the officers who won the football game.
Present to join the health walk and fun games were the Director General (DG) Medical Services of the Ghana Armed Forces Brig Gen Ralph Ametepi, commander of the hospital Brig Gen Ernest Crosby Saka (Jr), Commanding Officer of the facility Col Michael Yeboah Agyapong, matron Col Emelia Duah , some senior officers and personnel of the hospital.
